Metropark brand identity

Part of the reason I was asked to join Fashion retailer Metropark was to help establish a brand and a graphical system for the company. Working closely with the art director, Ron Delizo, we chose Din as our main font and black and white as our primary colours.

This book was given internally at Metropark to communicate the new direction.

  1. The book looks very pretty, but what problem were you trying to solve?

  2. What is Metropark? Why did you choose DIN? Why black and white? I feel I have no idea what is this brand and why it was designed this why. Too bad the text isn’t very helpful either. Esthetic work, but I cannot learn about identity design from this case.

  3. Metropark is out of business….

  4. Beautiful book and DIN is such a nice typeface. Sad to hear Metropark is out of business. A little back story would’ve been nice to read about the history and design process.

  5. Nicely done! I love when DIN is used properly, and in a considered approach. Excellent design, overall I’m happy with the look of this.
