Outlier is an ongoing global music series hosted by Simon Green, aka Bonobo. It consists of small to large scale events with a curated selection of eclectic talent beginning in London, Berlin, and Paris. Over the coming months we’re anticipating the brand to evolve into a record label, radio show, and more.
The driving concept behind the identity and brand system was Simon’s interest in geographical relationships between groups of like-minded people gathering for a common purpose outside of normal conventions. Inspired by previous record sleeve designs like Back Sands, abstractions of topographic line-work became the hero graphic representing this interconnectedness and the name Outlier. The primary colour palette is a source of strength that unifies the brand’s extensions, along with vibrant secondary colours and illustrations that convey diversity in talent and context.
