WEDF identity

The West of England Design Forum (WEDF) was formed in 2006 by a bunch of passionate designers and others who wanted to create a place to come together, be inspired and promote design. The idea worked and five years later the Forum is booming and basically has an agenda of onwards and upwards to the design stratosphere. In association with this growth we were asked to rebrand WEDF in line with clearly defined development objectives.

The West of England Design Forum is the ‘voice of design’ in the West of England. It is an energetic, inspirational, informal and stylish organisation. The new identity needed to be dynamic, bold, simple and fun. It includes a multicoloured palette conveying the variety and constant change of the design scene and the use of inspirational design quotes. To add emphasis to the weight and wealth of design talent in our area we have initiated a greater collaboration with local illustrators and designers to add originality and fun to WEDF communication material.

Love these quotes. I am a big fan of how much room for customization this identity allows. They could easily modify it for different events, seasons, etc. Cool!
