Basement Theatre is Auckland’s only underground theatre and a development space for emerging young actors. Our client wanted something bold, playful, and edgy.
The resulting flexible design system makes use of the stair graphic as an expressive element on imagery and text as well as a conventional signifier for the physical space. And the fluro colour scheme seemed the perfect fit for an outgoing theatre with a bold personality.
Typography is set using the full range of GT Haptik from Grilli Type.
